Primary lymphedema

Abstract

|
Primary lymphedema has been relatively uncommon disease which has been increasing in incidence by the development of pathophysiology and diagnostic procedures.
Primary lyniphedma was occurred by the various causes of maldevelopment of lymphatics and usually they involved extremities.
Surgical procedures has been improved, but its results had not been satisfactory still this time. A case of primary lymphedema involving lower extremity was presented with literature review. A 17-year-old male patient was admitted with complaints. Of painful swelling, limping of leg, milky discharge from wounds sites and. recurrent infections.
On first admission he was underwent buried dermal flap procedures and omental transposition on second admission.
